Film Festival PRE-VIEW EVENTS At 7 p.m. Sept. 18, a wine and cheese pre-view party hosted by the Museum of Arts and Sciences. The festival team will unveil the poster art for the DBFF and introduce its creator, DeLand artist Shannon Holt. Previews of the films to be shown at the three-day DBFF are also on tap for the evening at the MOAS, 352 S. Nova Road, Daytona Beach. Admission to the preview party is $10. It's free to DBFF sponsors, members of the press and major contributors. Reservations are suggested, (386)255-0285. Advance Festival Passes will be available for purchase. Museum members receive a discount. On Sept. 23, a similar event will take place at 7 p.m. at Vino 100, 175 S. Nova Road, Ormond Beach. Wine and cheeses are included in the $10 ticket price, free to DBFF sponsors and major contributors. Reservations suggested (386) 677-9800. The DBFF poster and artist are to be featured, as will film previews, and the opportunity to purchase advance Festival Passes. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, the year-round venue of Cinematique of Daytona. A special programming partnership with the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival promises bigger stars, parties and special VIP access including a lounge for all filmmakers and sponsors. The festival will open with a film and dinner gala on Friday October 9 and continue with films and parties all weekend.
